It might not have the charming medieval village or the hills of Saint-Émilion but it has the Garonne River and the Gironde further north. Médoc is by definition in between waters and it has the perfect soils to produce some exceptional wines, and home to some of the most prestigious wineries. Made extremely famous thanks to the 1855 classification (still the same today), Médoc has evolved into a limitless wine paradise from Margaux all the way to Saint-Estèphe. Some perfect local restaurant will host you in between two Châteaux. We will visit some big names but also smaller producers that make the Médoc region unique.
